Veteran Nigerian actor, Chief Pete Edochie has joined the number of celebrities to react to the passing away of Ghana’s former President, F.L Jerry John Rawlings.

Jerry John Rawlings died on Thursday morning, November 12th, 2020. At the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra after a short illness, just a few days after burying his late mother.

The actor on Thursday took to his social media pages to express his feeling after hearing the news that his good friend was no more, sharing a picture that saw them together.

“Rest in Peace & Power, my dear friend Jerry Rawlings. Your legacy is forever part of African history🙏🏽” – he posted.

Rawlings was survived by his wife, Nana Konadu Agyeman, and his four children, three daughters; Zanetor Rawlings, Yaa Asantewaa Rawlings, Amina Rawlings, and one so; Kimathi Rawlings. He died at age 73
