After years of rivalries, Oasis broke up in 2009, with Noel Gallagher officially leaving moments prior to a performance at a festival near Paris. Even before the breakup, the brothers had a non stable relationship, and they reportedly did not talk for years afterward.

Noel Gallagher said his younger brother had a hangover, forcing them to cancel a 2009 gig. The frontman rejected the accusation and sued, but later dropped the case.

However, the brothers are planning to reconnect, with the band stating that fans will experience “the spark and intensity” that only occurs when they perform on stage together.
