A deadly shooting in Pennsylvania has led to homicide charges after authorities say a 24-year-old man killed a teenager during a reckless gun “game” known as “quick draw.”
Police arrested Samuel Rolando Colon on Monday in connection with the November 2025 death of 19-year-old Ti’Shaun Singleton. Prosecutors have charged him with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and six counts of recklessly endangering another person.
Emergency crews were called to a home on Edward Lane in Catasauqua shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 8. When they arrived, they found Singleton with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Lehigh County Coroner later ruled the death a homicide according to Wfmz.
Investigators say the moments after the shooting were chaotic. Surveillance footage from nearby homes reportedly showed several people inside the house dragging Singleton’s body outside, while others fled.
“The investigation included the review of nearby video surveillance that showed two people inside the Edward Lane home dragging the victim outside and several people running from the home,” the release states. “One person later carried the victim back inside.”
Witnesses told authorities that the shooting happened during a dangerous game involving firearms.
“Witnesses whose names will not be released said the victim and Colon were playing a game they named ‘quick draw’ and both were armed with guns,” prosecutors wrote in the release. “As the men were playing the game, Colon shot and killed the victim.”
Officials have not explained how the game worked or why both men were armed.
Authorities also confirmed that a child and several other individuals were either inside or near the home at the time of the shooting, raising further concerns about public safety.
Colon remains in custody at the Lehigh County Jail without bond. He is expected to appear at a preliminary hearing, where a judge will decide if the case moves forward to trial.
The investigation is ongoing, led by the Lehigh County Homicide Task Force and local police.
