Ghana Police Service has arrested award-winning Ghanaian comic actor, Funny Face over his threats to take the life of his baby mama Vannesa Nicole for using him.

It would be recalled that the award-winning Ghanaian comedian who is born with his legal name as Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, was sighted in a video on social media registering his anger towards his baby mama Vanessa as well as some of his industry friends.

Funny Face in the video threatened to kill his baby mama by shooting her and at the end take his own life as well he disclosed in the video.

Well, Ghana sees him at fault and has however arrested him, currently in custody as he is being processed for court.

Funny Face Arrested by Ghana Police in Custody over Threats to Kill some Individuals

“Due to the history of the suspect, the police shall submit Funny Face to the court for an order for psychiatric examination, to determine the next line of investigative action.” Ghana Police said.

The comic actor was arrested late at night on Monday, October 18th, 2021 at around 10:14 pm, as announced by Ghana Police via their active social media pages.

Full Statement From Ghana Police Reads;

“Funny Face in Police Custody for Allegedly Threatening Some Individuals. The Police have today, Monday,

“18th October, 2021, at 10:14 pm arrested Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face for allegedly threatening certain individuals via some Social Media platforms.

“Due to the history of the suspect, the police shall submit Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng to the court for an order for psychiatric examination, to determine the next line of investigative action.

“The police is committed to protecting lives with the generous help of the public. We want to assure the public that we shall not take anything for granted in the interest of public safety.”
