Prince Harry has publicly addressed the ongoing rumours about his marriage to Meghan Markle, firmly denying claims that their relationship is on the verge of collapse.
Speaking at the annual DealBook Summit, Harry took the opportunity to set the record straight while also criticizing the relentless online trolls and media attention.
When asked by event founder Andrew Ross Sorkin about the public’s fascination with his and Meghan’s independent activities, Harry laughed off the persistent reports suggesting the couple’s marriage was in trouble.
“Apparently, we’ve bought or moved house 10, 12 times. We’ve apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So it’s just like, ‘What?'” he said, before adding that it was hard to keep up with the wild rumours.
“The people I feel most sorry about are the trolls. Their hopes are just built and built, and then it doesn’t happen. So I feel sorry for them. Genuinely, I do.”
Harry also took aim at the media’s portrayal of his life, emphasizing how false stories have plagued him for years. “I’ve had a lived experience since I was a kid.
I’ve seen stories written about myself that aren’t exactly based on reality,” he said.

He went on to explain how this constant scrutiny made him question the validity of the information and the dangers it posed over time.
Addressing the couple’s future, Harry reiterated that he and Meghan have no plans to return to the UK with their children, Archie and Lilibet, citing concerns over security as a key factor in their decision.
Despite the swirling rumours, Harry’s message was clear: the couple is solid, and their focus remains on their own path, free from the negativity of online trolls and media speculation.
