Parisian new coach Christophe Galtier speaking about Neymar’s future following his appointment has openly advocated for the Brazilian winger to stay in the French capital. Galtier said:

“I want Neymar to stay here with us.
“[Neymar] is a world class player, what coach wouldn’t want that player in their team?” said Galtier.

“Of course, you have to have a balance, but I’m clear on what I want from him and I’m sure he’ll stay with us.
“Because we want the best people here.”

The recent development made by the Parisian head coach could now see Chelsea turn their attentions elsewhere in the market, with Thomas Tuchel reportedly favouring a move for Raheem Sterling as a priority attacking signing.

The German and fomer Parisian boss was said to be keen on bringing in Neymar but he will then focus on other options like Man United’s Ronaldo who is desperately seeking for an exit this summer.
