Speaking on the issue, R2Bees said when they started back then, they used to grant interviews but at a point, they decided not to give in their minds due to the fact that journalists sometimes try to take advantage of them and also twist their stories to their on benefits.

So they just don’t feel interested but rather want to stay away from the negativity.

“When we started, we used to do interviews. It’s not like we’ve been like this from when we came. What e realized is some of the interviews we used to do back then, most of the journalists tried to take advantage. They try to clout chase.”

“We are not just musicians. We are solid human beings. We believe in promoting positivity. So we know how sometimes the media focuses so much on the negative just for clout. So we try to pull ourselves. Not that we don’t want to do interviews, we just try to stay away from the whole negativity.” Omar Sterling said.
