Talented Ghanaian musician Osei Kuffour Prempeh, popularly known as Kofi Jamar has asserted that rap is not worth it.

According to the “Erkoso” hitmaker, rap is not something that really pays and hence is not a worthwhile venture to engage in.

He added that, despite rap not being lucrative, he can still out rap his fans’ favorite rapper. The musician shared these insights with his loyal fans on his verified Twitter account.

His message read as follows

 “I’m not a rapper. I’m a musical artist, but I can out rap you favorite rapper any day. Rap just doesn’t pay enough for me to spend all my life rapping”.

He also alleged that a rapper can rap all his life but won’t have any hit song to attract the masses and money.

To this effect, he iterated that people should thereby take it easy on rappers who switch into different arts to suit his crowd.

“A rapper might rap all his life and never get a hit song. And you know how they treat you as an artist if you don’t have a hit song.”

“So guys have to take it easy on a rapper who tries to switch and commercialize his art to suit the crowd. Everybody got to get paid” he ascertained.
