American rapper 2 Low had an unexpected and alarming moment during an appearance on the season two premiere of Mike D’s podcast, “One on One.”
The incident occurred as the two rappers were engaged in a deep conversation about 2 Low’s early career and the lessons he learned from a tumultuous past.
Known for his gritty rhymes and street-smart persona, 2 Low—who signed his first record deal at just 12 and found himself behind bars at 15—was sharing his perspective on making better choices in life when a loud bang interrupted the discussion.
The sound came from the rapper’s pocket, sending a shockwave through the room.
For a brief moment, the conversation came to a halt. 2 Low looked visibly stunned, checking to see if he was hurt. Mike D, ever the calm host, quickly asked, “Who shot who? Somebody got shot?”

A voice off-camera can be heard asking if 2 Low was okay, to which he responded, “I hope, y’all good?”
Mike D, who is no stranger to the hip-hop scene, abruptly ended the episode, reflecting on the chaos. “Damn, only on the Dirty Third One on One with Mike D,” he said. “I thought my (bleep) shot me!”
The rapper reassured everyone that, thankfully, there were no injuries. “Well right now, man, you know, we being grateful of the fact that everybody safe, everybody good, everybody cool,” he said.
In a YouTube post, Mike D jokingly described the incident, writing, “X Rap A Lot artist 2 Low almost (gun emoji) himself on camera. Thank God everyone was OK.”
The video has since gone viral, sparking a mix of laughter and disbelief from fans. Watch the full video below.
