Rapper T.I. has filed a defamation lawsuit against his former friend Sabrina Peterson, more than three years after she accused him of disturbing behavior, including holding a gun to her head.
The lawsuit, filed in recent court documents, claims that Peterson’s actions have caused significant harm to his reputation and family.
In the new legal filing, T.I. (whose real name is Clifford Harris) states that he and his family distanced themselves from Peterson after realizing she was not a “positive” influence.
He alleges that Peterson became fixated on him following their fallout and began harassing him and his family through social media, making damaging claims.
T.I. insists that the accusations are false and baseless, and that they were intended solely to harm him.
The lawsuit also highlights that Peterson’s behavior has not only affected T.I. but others as well, with multiple individuals reportedly taking legal action to protect themselves from her alleged harassment.
The rapper is seeking unspecified damages for the defamation he claims he has suffered.

This lawsuit is the latest development in an ongoing legal feud between T.I. and Peterson. In 2021, Peterson filed a defamation lawsuit against T.I. and his wife, Tiny Harris, after accusing T.I. of holding a gun to her head.
She also suggested that the couple had drugged and sexually assaulted women, which both T.I. and Tiny denied. Their attorney described the accusations as part of an “extortion campaign.”
T.I.’s defamation lawsuit represents an escalation of the legal battles between the two, as he seeks to clear his name and put an end to the damaging accusations.
