Real Madrid legend Roberto Carlos is reportedly seeking refuge at the club’s training ground in Valdebebas amidst a bitter divorce battle with his wife, Mariana Lucon.
The couple, married for over 15 years, are now going through a complicated separation, which is expected to involve a significant financial settlement due to Carlos’ impressive fortune, estimated at €160 million (£133 million).
Carlos, 51, married Lucon in June 2009, and together they have two daughters, Manuela and Mariana. However, the couple’s relationship has come to an end, with Carlos now temporarily residing at Real Madrid’s training facilities while his personal life is sorted.
It is reported that Lucon continues to live at their main residence, while Carlos’ in-laws are staying in his second property.
