Rema, a Nigerian music superstar, is set to headline his first show at the O2 Arena in London on November 14th, 2023.
Rema Live In The O2, London: The 23-year-old artist announced the concert on his Twitter page, following in the footsteps of other Afrobeats stars such as Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, who have sold out the arena in the past.
Rema wrote: “I can’t wait to have this unforgettable Night with y’all @TheO2 🦇🇬🇧 Pre-sales goes Live @ 10am Tomorrow & General On Sale @ 10am on Friday. RemaAtTheo2Nov14”

In addition to his upcoming show in London, Rema has also announced the Rema Calm Down India Tour, where he will be performing in multiple cities between May 12th and 14th.
The tour is expected to attract a massive fan base, as Rema has gained a strong following in India.
In a recent interview with i-D Magazine, Rema spoke about his vision to change the world’s perception of African music.
He sees himself as a bridge to take African music to a global audience, saying, “I changed the sound. I changed the perspective. The template is mine.”
