Adebisi Samuel, 76 year old man was beheaded by some ritual killers in the Akanran neighborhood of Ibadan.
The accused were detained following intelligence tips from members of the public, according to the Deputy Commandant of Amotekun in the state, Mr. Akinro Kazeem, who paraded them at the Amotekun headquarters in Dandaru, Ibadan, on Tuesday.
Ismail Muraina claimed that he seduced the victim because he perceived him as unstable, according to Akinro, who named the suspects as Ismail Muraina, Abdlerasheed Olanrewaju, and Olalekan Akande.
The accused confessed to selling human heads based on the size and amount of money in their buyers’ hands, he said.
The accused, he said, specialized in selling body parts to ritualists in need of human parts worth between N4,000 and N100,000.
He asked members of the public to continue working with law enforcement and other security organizations to expose illegal activity in their neighborhoods.
Mrs Olaosun Olufunke, one of the victim’s daughters, stated her father phoned her.
