Bundesliga legend Robert Lewandowski could be great potentially transfer for Chelsea.
Chelsea and the Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku‘s spell could come to an end if his exit wish is granted and that will see the Blues in the market for a new number 9.
The Blues could take advantage of this situation to sign Bayern Munich’s record goalscorer Lewandowski who recently won the FIFA best player for 2021 at the recent The Best awards in Zurich.
It is believed the player could leave his club in the summer if his situation doesn’t change.
According to Bild, the 33-year-old could be sold by the Bavarians in June if he doesn’t renew his contract before the end of the season.
Bayern Munich are willing to offer Robert Lewandowski a one-year renewal with the same salary, or a two-year deal in event he agrees to a pay cut.
Club directors Oliver Kahn, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Hasan Salihamidzic are hoping that Robert Lewandowski’s future will be cleared up soon, as they will need to move for a striker, with Erling Haaland being an option in the event the Polish star departs this summer.
According to Transfermarkt, Lewandowski is valued at 50 million euros, a figure that many clubs would be eager to spend to land the Bayern striker.
