Rodrygo reveals what Modric said to Salah after the Real Madrid defeated Liverpool

Real Madrid star Rodrygo reveals Salah’s pre-match talk was a motivation at stade de France.

Egyptian star was forced off after half an hour with a dislocated shoulder in 2018 Champions league final faced a similar nightmare after hoping for revenge.

After Liverpool reached this year’s final by beating Villarreal,

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah spoke about how much he wanted to face Real Madrid in the final after beating Villarreal.

“I want to play Madrid,” Salah told BT Sport.

“We lost in the final against them, so I want to play against them and hopefully win it from them as well.”

However, Salah and Liverpool’s nightmare continued at the Stade de France as Real Madrid won 1-0 on Saturday night.

Salah was unable to find a way past Belgian shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois who denied him with a series of stunning saves.

Real Madrid Hero, Rodrygo, has revealed what his teammate, Luka Modric told Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah in an interviewed by the Cortes Podcast.

“I have to tell a funny anecdote,” Rodrygo said. “When the Champions League final was over, we made a guard of honour for the Liverpool players” Rodrygo added.

“Salah passed by, dejected, and Modric, who was on the other side, greeted him and said: ‘Thank you Salah, you can try again next time’.” I started laughing.”

Rodrygo admitted that Real Madrid  used Salah’s pre-match comments with the Egyptian speaking a lot about revenge as motivation.
