Chelsea’s new signing Romelu Lukaku and Manchester United Raphaël Varane all set for their first  Premier league debut  against Arsenal and Southampton this Sunday.

Chelsea won three of their last 14 games against Arsenal in all competitions (D5 L6), losing each of their last three games to the Gunners (2020 FA Cup final and both 2020-21 Premier League meetings).

This summer saw Arsenal spent heavily on transfers that include a £50m centre-back and midfielder this week. The Gunners are super-confident for Sunday’s Emirates clash after a poor performance  last week at Brentford.

Mikel Arteta on if he has a plan to stop Lukaku: “I don’t know if he’s going to play! I have a plan to try to stop what Chelsea do & the plan to do what we have to do to win the game.”

Mikel Arteta will need to pick a balanced lineup and find a way to inspire his team against Chelsea  after their first defeat.

Lindelöf will be the man to step aside for Raphaël Varane  this weekend as he is set for his debut.

Victor Lindelöf who played in Manchester United’s win against Leeds United last weekend must have known the role of his new teammate Raphaël Varane as one half of Manchester United’s first-choice central defensive.

Manchester United new signings will all be in action this Sunday

Raphaël Varane seems likely to make his Premier League debut, partnering Harry Maguire against Southampton at St Mary’s as the duo set about forging what may become a formidable partnership.

Manchester United last weekend don’t exactly look in desperate need of another attack-minded player in their team after securing the signature of Jadon Sancho and keeping Jesse Lingard.
