Cristiano Ronaldo, the legendary Portuguese footballer, has responded to a suggestion that he could one day share the pitch with his son, Cristiano Jr., in a professional match.
The 39-year-old was asked about this potential scenario during an interview with popular YouTuber MrBeast (James Donaldson) on his channel, ‘UR Cristiano’.
The idea came up when MrBeast drew a comparison to basketball star LeBron James, who at 39, plays for the Los Angeles Lakers alongside his 20-year-old son, Bronny James.
“It’s crazy how LeBron is playing with his son. Are you thinking about making that happen in football?” MrBeast asked.
Ronaldo, who is known for his high level of fitness and ambition, smiled and responded, “Maybe, I’ll see. He’s fourteen now,” referring to his son, who is still in his teens and growing in his own football career.

Ronaldo, whose playing career has spanned two decades, also acknowledged the challenge of such an idea due to his age.
MrBeast playfully suggested that Ronaldo could continue playing for three more years to make it happen when Cristiano Jr. turns 17.
Ronaldo responded with a laugh, saying, “Let’s see, let’s see how my legs are doing,” implying that the decision would depend on his physical condition as he continues his career.
While the idea of father and son playing together at the top level of football might seem like a dream, Ronaldo’s playful response shows his openness to the possibility.
