The tragic death of Karon Makhai Cann, known by his stage name Ronny Doe, has left family and friends in mourning.
The 24-year-old was fatally shot in Severn, Maryland, on the evening of February 3, 2025. Ronny, the ex-boyfriend of TV personality Chrisean Rock, passed away after a targeted attack.
According to authorities, Ronny was found lying in front of a home in Severn, located about 25 minutes outside Baltimore, after suffering gunshot wounds.
Police administered immediate medical aid at the scene, and firefighters rushed him to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
Unfortunately, Ronny succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving.

The shooting is being investigated as a homicide, and police have indicated that it was a targeted act.
Details surrounding the motive remain unclear, but Ronny had recently made headlines for publicly claiming to be the father of Chrisean Rock’s son, a statement that contradicted rapper Blueface’s own paternity claims.
In the wake of his death, Ronny’s family has expressed profound grief. His uncle shared a heartfelt tribute on Facebook, describing the pain of losing his nephew.
“This feels like a nightmare. I’ve been up crying all night. I’m not supposed to bury you, nephew. You were the closest I had to a son,” the uncle wrote.
“I watch you grow up and been there every step of the way. It hurts so bad that your life was taken, but I know you’re at peace now.”
The loss has shocked the local community, and many are left seeking justice. Ronny’s uncle added that he was praying for justice to bring closure to the family.
