Media personality Abena Ruthy has called on dancehall recording artiste, Stonebwoy of the Burniton Music Group, to reconsider his decision and also bring back his former signee, depressed OV before something bad happens to her.
This plea from Ruthy comes following a circulating video of the former Burniton Music Group signee, OV looking all depressed and unrecognized which has left many of her fans and music lovers worried about her and her life.
According to Nhyira Fm’s Ruthy who took to Facebook to submit her view and plea, she thinks Stonebwoy shouldn’t have parted ways with the then fast-rising star leaving her to her fate.

Mr. Livingston Este Setakple aka Stonebwoy back in February 2020, made it official that he has released the MTN Hitmaker Season 7 Winner, Ovi who goes by her legal name Barbara Naa Okailey Nyarko from his record label after parting ways with Kelvyn Boy and Black Cedi.
If you guys will recall, in our previous post and the dancehall artiste and signing of other artistes onto his label, we made it known that he has disclosed in a recent radio interview saying he is no longer interested in signing onto his record label any artiste but rather he will lend a helping/supporting hand to any young artiste out there who deserves it, which I think can be related to looking at what he had to go through with his previous signees.
According to Abena Ruthy’s assertion, she thinks the Stonebwoy should reconsider his decision of not signing any artistes and try to bring her back into the Burniton Music Group record label to refine her into the hitmaker OV whom we knew back then before depression kills her and also in other to avoid any “Had I Known” in the coming days.
She wrote on Facebook;
“In fact, Mr. Livingston Este Setakple aka Stonebwoy shouldn’t have parted ways with the then fast rising star”! Stonebwoy ended or terminated the contract of OV and left her to her fate…
“Barely 2months ago, I quizzed about her whereabouts and few days afterwards, “Kelvyn boy on Sammy flex show answered me by saying she’s under rebranding, is this the rebranding” he was talking about?
“Jesus Christ; I think it’s never too late for Stonebwoy to bring her back under his label to refine” her into the OV we knew that gave us some instants hits such as “want me, zaddy” after mTn Hitmaker .. to avoid any “#HadIKnown” in the future, Stonebwoy should please reconsider his decision for not signing any artist under his label and reach out to OV before “depression finally kills her!!
