Ghana’s heavyweight rap champ, Sarkodie debuts on Billboard’s Social 50 Chart.

The rapper who has over 8 million followers across social media happens to be one of the few African musicians to make the list, he came at the 48th spot.

The Billboard Social 50 Chart is a popularity chart which ranks the most active musical artists on the world’s leading social networking services.

The chart retrieves its data from YouTube, Vevo, Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, iLike, SoundCloud, Instagram, Vine and Tumblr.

The Billboard Social 50 Chart saw Rihanna on the 46th spot, followed by Seconds of Summer on 47, whiles the 48th position saw the Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie, then followed Gucci Mane also coming 49, with Anitta on 50th spot.
