Watch Sarkodie’s Performance at Global Citizen Festival [VIDEO]

Townflex brings to you all the full performance of Sarkcess music boss, rapper Sarkodie who is also known as Africa’s most decorated rapper at the just ended Global Citizen Festival 2022.

The 2022 edition of the Global Citizen Festival was held for the first time in Accra, Ghana at the Black Star Square on Saturday, September 24th, 2022.

The purpose of the event was to bring together artists and international leaders to advance a policy agenda that centered on empowering women and girls, safeguarding the environment, and bringing about change.

Ghanaian performers at the Global Citizen Festival included Gyakie, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Kwesi Arthur, Yaw Tog, and UK-based Ghanaian rapper Stormzy also as they thrilled thousands. Performances also came from American musicians SZA and Usher Raymond IV, as well as Nigerian musicians in the likes of Tems, Tiwa Savage, and Oxalade.

Sarkodie Performs at Global Citizen Festival 2022

The rapper thrilled many of the fans as he served the crowd with his hit songs, Sarkodie performed Pizza & Burger a song he released back in 2012 featuring colleague rapper and singer, Jayso, he also performed his 2021 released Coachella song featuring Kwesi Arthur.

He then continued with his 2013 song Illuminati, 2018 released Hope [Brighter Day] inspirational song featuring Obrafour also followed. Fans also cheered as he performed the 2022 hit song ‘Non Living Thing’ featuring Nigerian star, Oxlade. He also did one for the ladies gathered around by performing his 2019 jam,  featuring bhimantion boss, Stonebwoy.

Sarkodie’s performance wouldn’t have been a complete one without the performance of ‘The Sark Nation Anthem‘, his 2013 released hardcore rap song titled ‘Origina‘, fans just went rife and sag along as he does the performance.
