Sarkodie was called upon by a Twitter user identified by the username, @TsaatseB wanting to know what his thoughts are regarding the trending and controversial tax that has been introduced, asking him to speak as many of his colleagues in the entertainment fraternity and music industry have reacted to it.

He asked Sark; “@sarkodie Please i want to know what you think about the E-Levy, you have been quiet on it your paddies are speaking their minds ooo”.

The Sarkcess music boss humbly responded to his question by sharing with the public his thoughts on the matter at hand.

Sarkodie responding to the question said he pays a lot of tax when he leaves Ghana to other countries, and that he does not complain because he uses avenues they created or made available using the taxes collected to make money for himself.

Speaking on, he said, even tho taking tax isn’t a bad thing, describing it as harmless, it is not the same down here in his country, Ghana, and that is why Ghanaians are opposing it looking at the conditions here, and the struggles people have to go through.

Sarkodie Wrote;

I pay a lot of taxes outside and I don’t complain because I’m using avenues they made available to make ( it’s only right ) it’s not same here and that’s why we complain not because the “E Levy” is bad . When you broke, a harmless “good morning “ can sound like a tease.

Well, Sarkodie has spoken finally but some are against his thoughts on the e-levy as they think what he said does not really make any sense and coming from someone whom most youths are looking up to.
