The E-levy had already thrown the parliament into disarray, back in December.
Several politicians, economists, and Ghanaians have expressed their displeasure with the E-levy.
Ghanaians, forgetting that the UK job system is superior to Ghana’s, have begun to compare their 10% E-levy cost to Ghana’s 1.75 percent.
People who have little understanding of the country’s plight are also pushing for the bill’s passage. The majority of the population, on the other hand, expects the government to change its decision.
In the aftermath of the controversial E-levy, Ghana’s most outspoken musical act, Shatta Wale, has urged the existing administration to heed to the people’s concerns and quit acting as if Ghana is their legitimate property.
