Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Francisca Gawugah known by the stage name Sista Afia has revealed that she will legalize Marijuana over LGBTQ & Prostitution if given the power.
Sista Afia who is currently promoting her newly released song “Asuoden” made this known in a radio interview on Accra FM hosted by Nana Romeo.
Cannabis, also known as marijuana has been legalized in some parts of the world while other parts to are waiting for it to be legalized, over here in Ghana, It has partially been legalized only for industrial purposes in Ghana by the Narcotic Control Commission.
While the issue of LGBTQ is yet to be dealt with as many are against the legalization of same-sex relationships in the country.
Speaking on Marijuana legalization in Ghana, the singer said that a lot of guys enjoy using it, and hence when she is given the power, it will be one of the things she will see to legalize.
“If I had the power to do so, I’ll legalize it because the guys like it,” she told Nana Romeo.
Speaking on, she also recounted her struggling days as she revealed that back when she was in the UK, she used to sell Waakye in a restaurant, and that was how she got to meet Ghana’s rap icon, Sarkodie for the first time.
