American rapper, songwriter, media personality, actor, Snoop Dogg has announced his readiness to release a new album before the year 2021, comes to an end.
The rapper who has joined Def Jam Recordings as an executive creative and strategic consultant this June, confirmed the news in a recent interview he had o the “The Tonight Show” hosted by Jimmy Fallon.
This upcoming project (album) which is titled “Algorithm” will be out through his newly joined label ‘Def Jam’.
Few days ago, the likes of Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent called out Organizers of the Emmys to register their dissapointment following the fact that white actors won in all of the award show’s acting categories in the 2021, Emmy Awards with no ‘people of color’ (a term primarily used to describe any person who is not considered “white”) winning.
Born with his legal name, Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., known professionally as Snoop Dogg, said that the album is scheduled to be officially released in November this year even though he did not specify the exact date for the release.
The forthcoming Algorithm album by the multiple award-winning rapper will be his 19th studio album.
The project according to him will feature a lot of big artistes in the music scene as well as featuring some of the new acts that are fast rising.
“We got an album coming out it’s called Algorithm. It’ll be out in November and it’s featuring a lot of big-name acts and some new ones,” Snoop Dogg said.
He told the host of “The Tonight Show”, Jimmy Fallon that he is even working on a Def Jam project for kids which will also soon be announced.
“I got a Def Jam kids album coming out this year, too. Something for the kids,” he said.
