Ghanaian magnate Honourable Prince Tetteh is on the verge of acquiring a 60% controlling stake in the Spanish third division club Ourense CF.
Serving as Ghana’s Consul to Guinea-Bissau, Honourable Tetteh has been leading discussions with the support of an expert advisory team, including former footballer Antonio Nunez Tena.
This ambitious deal not only signifies Tetteh’s potential influence on Ourense’s future but also presents an opportunity to pave the way for talented African footballers to enter European leagues.
Upon a recent visit, Club President Camilo Diaz warmly welcomed Honourable Tetteh and provided a tour of the facilities. The Mayor of Ourense, Gonzalo Pérez Jácome, lauded the prospective alliance. Tetteh’s significant standing was further affirmed as he received prestigious club awards during the visit.
Seeking to enhance Ourense’s trajectory, Tetteh sought guidance from former Deportivo La Coruna President Augusto César Lendoiro.

Appointed as Ghana’s Consul to Guinea-Bissau in 2021 by President Nana Akufo-Addo, His Excellency Tetteh demonstrates a strong commitment to diplomacy. His aspiration is to leverage Ourense as a platform to enhance opportunities for African talents in Europe.

Currently positioned second in their regional Segunda División B group, Ourense underwent a reformation in 2014 after the dissolution of the previous entity, CD Ourense.
