Nigerian singer Oludipe David, popularly known as Spyro, has revealed that he was recently targeted in a blackmail attempt involving an alleged sex tape.
The “Who’s Your Guy” hitmaker shared his ordeal in a series of Instagram stories on Tuesday, expressing frustration over the situation.
According to Spyro, the blackmail attempt came after he confronted an individual about their wrongdoing.
In his revelation, the singer called out the hypocrisy of some religious individuals, claiming that many who hold high positions in religious circles are among the worst deceivers.
“Don’t be deceived; the biggest scams and liars are the ones at the top of religious ladders. They perpetrate evil and quote holy books to support their wrongs. Then come the emotional games and threats. The deception is on another level,” Spyro wrote.

He further disclosed that after he called out the person’s actions, they began quoting religious scriptures while simultaneously threatening to leak an alleged sex tape.

“I once called someone out for wronging me. The next day, the person started confessing scriptures, and in the same breath, sending threats about releasing a sex tape, claiming they also have a girl who says she’s pregnant for me,” he added.

Spyro did not disclose the identity of the person involved but warned his followers to be cautious of individuals who hide behind religion while engaging in deceptive and manipulative behavior.
