The dancehall artiste Stonebwoy was contacted via a phone call during a live radio interview session between Andy Dosty and Mr Drew on the Daybreakhitz morning show on Hitz 103.9 FM Monday Morning, Just 1st, 2020, to join in and give his account on what he has heard, know or has to say regarding the whole issue.
Disturbed Stonebwoy who felt his name / brand is being dusted and also disrespected over a goodwill gesture he was just offering to a college musician, in his narrative to Andy Dosty, explained clearly how the whole story of him being featured on Mr Drew’s song came about and also voiced out that he had no idea the song belonged to someone else nor does he know it was a cover song.
The Nominate crooner during the phone call expressed his disappointment with Drew’s management team, said they knew better how the systems work and should have done the right thing from the onset.
He also went on to plead that his name be dropped from the copyright / theft saga as he has no hands or no clew he was even riding on a cover song. Watch video below.
