Stonebwoy And Shatta Wale Granted Bail Ghc 50,000 Each: Case Adjourned

Ghanaian two dancehall giants Stonebwoy And Shatta Wale have been called before Court over the unlawful actions which occurred at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2019.

An incident which led to Stonebwoy who had been called on stage to receive the Reggae-Dancehall Artiste of the Year award pulling out a firearm on stage without permission after his rival Shatta Wale showed up on the stage unannounced.

As you are all already aware, Shatta Wale has been charged with offensive conduct conducive to the breach of peace and Stonebwoy has been charged with use of offensive weapon, display of firearm in public and threat to harm.

On Wednesday 22nd May 2019, the two Zylofon Media signed artistes appeared before court in Accra and pleaded not guilty to their charges. with Lawyers Jerry Avenyor and Selali Wonya representing Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy respectively.

Magistrate Isaac Addo who presided the court granted the two acts bail at a cost of GHc 50,000 respectively with one surety each.
