Yvonne Nelson, a Ghanaian actress, model, film producer, and businesswoman has received a lot of mixed feedback on social media as a result of her advice to young people who typically think it’s cool to make derogatory comments about others online, especially people they are yet to meet in person.
The multiple award-winning Ghanaian filmmaker and producer disclosed that she had to turn down a guy who came to her for a job interview.
According to her, the man in question, whose name or handle she did not reveal, came for the job interview, and he is one of those people who enjoy hurling insults at people they have never met.

In a tweet on Wednesday, the actress described what happened and stated that when the young man arrived, she asked for his Twitter handle only to discover that he joines the long list of people she has blocked on the microblogging platform, Twitter, for dissing her without even meeting her.
The actress continued by urging young people to refrain from insulting strangers, warning them that doing so could cost them their future and make them regret it later in life.
Yvonne Nelson wrote; ‘Stay on twitter and continue fooling and insulting people you’ve never met. Your future self will regret it. One guy came for a job interview and i asked him for his twitter handle, guess what, i had blocked him. Well….you know the rest. Keep fooling wai.”

Well, after posting what she did to the young man on social media, it drew a variety of responses, some of which were in agreement with what she did and others of which were not. As you are aware, the insult persisted as other people shared their opinions.

No!!!!! Where is the disrespect? I don’t just see a Man going to her DMs to disrespect her. You shouldn’t just judge without knowing the other side of the story just because she’s your fave or a popular actresses

Baby girl there was no advice in that tweet. If she had tweeted “Stop disrespecting people” We definitely wouldn’t be arguing… Her action regarding the Job interview thing was a very immature one tbh
