A 27-year-old teacher and mother of two, Reagan Anderson, from Holly Hill Academy in South Carolina, USA, was arrested on Wednesday, November 15, on charges of pressuring a 17-year-old male student into having sex and sending explicit pictures, according to police reports.
Anderson is facing two counts of sexual battery with a child 17 years of age, as outlined in an arrest warrant obtained by WCSC.
The alleged incidents took place in October, with the first occurrence at a private residence in Holly Hill and the second in a Pizza Hut parking lot in the nearby town of Santee.

During Anderson’s court hearing, the victim’s mother expressed anger and disappointment, stating, “A trusted coach, teacher, and friend that abused our trust and violated her oath as an educator. She has ruined our son’s life.”
The school administration, upon learning of the allegations on November 8, promptly contacted the police.
In a letter to parents, Head of School Brandy Mullennax stated, “Holly Hill Academy was made aware last week of allegations regarding an inappropriate relationship between a staff member and an upper school student.

The administration immediately contacted law enforcement and continues to work cooperatively with them as they investigate the allegations.”
Anderson was swiftly fired from her teaching position. On her LinkedIn page, she described herself as “very passionate about children” and a “stay-at-home mom looking for at-home opportunities to help support my family.”
The judge set Anderson’s bond at $2,500 and ordered her to wear a GPS monitor. Additionally, she is prohibited from having any contact with the victim and his family.
