Teacher Kwadwo Sacked By Ghana Education Service GES

Popular Ghanaian professional teacher, and comedian, Teacher Kwadwo has been sacked by the Ghana Education Service (GES).

Born with his legal name as Michael Owusu Afriyie, Teacher Teacher Kwadwo made this news of him being fired by GES known to the public via his official Facebook page on Saturday afternoon, December 18, 2021.

It would be recalled that some time ago, the comedian and the GES have been in the news making headlines following Teacher Kwadwo’s #FixGES campaign.

He was by then served a letter and also summoned by the Disciplinary Committee of the Akrofuom District Education Directorate over alleged “professional misconducts. all just because he was requesting, fighting the Ghana Education Service to bring reforms in the education system in Ghana.

Teacher Kwadwo announcing the news revealed in his Facebook page that the sack letter which he received on Friday, December 17, 2021, was written and signed dated 27th October 2021.

Teacher Kwadwo Sacked by GES: He has however refused to share the contents of the letter with the public but according to him, he received the letter from through Ghana Education his District Education Office.

He wrote.

Okay, so for some “PROFESSIONAL” reasons I can’t post the content of the letter here but all that is in the letter is that,My District Education Office through Ghana Education Service says that, they have sacked me.
Their reasons are very funny
This is going to be the 1st ever TEACHER vs GES fîght in the history of Ghana Education.
Y’all relax because it will be all over the news soon and y’all will know the head and tail of it.
