TEHRAN — A massive new billboard stands in central Tehran depicting US President Donald Trump and his family members above coffins draped in American flags.
The display occupies Palestine Square. It escalates the Islamic Republic’s aggressive messaging against Washington as direct military conflicts intensify between the two nations.
The giant mural features Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and their five children: Ivanka, Donald Trump Jr., Eric, Tiffany, and Barron. They stand directly above the flag-covered coffins with the White House in the background.
Produced by state-linked organizations, the display includes the bold slogan “Blood for Blood.” The message threatens revenge for the joint US-Israeli airstrikes that killed Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and several of his immediate family members.
The Palestine Square installation is the latest in a series of hostile public murals targeting American figures across the Iranian capital.
Days earlier, another giant display in Tehran’s Enghelab Square showcased Trump lying inside an open black coffin. That mural featured the words “We Kill Trump” written in both Persian and English.
Other recent state-produced media across Tehran placed Trump’s face inside a rifle’s crosshairs. Another mural featured the phrase “Who’s next?” directly beneath the name of Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who passed away earlier this month.
The graphic psychological warfare responds directly to the February 28 US-Israeli strikes that killed Ali Khamenei at his Tehran compound. The dawn bombardment also killed Khamenei’s daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, and infant granddaughter.
The Enghelab Square coffin display featured white graffiti reading “In memory of Minab’s children,” referencing a strike that hit an elementary school in the southern Iranian city of Minab on the same day.
Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, publicly vowed that those responsible for the assassination would not die “peacefully in their beds”.
An Iran-backed militia coalition called the Islamic Resistance in Iraq also announced a $10 million bounty for anyone who assassinates Trump. The group cited revenge for the 2026 strikes and the 2020 drone strike that killed General Qassem Soleimani.
These visual threats coincide with heavy, ongoing US military operations in the region. US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed fresh waves of airstrikes targeting Iranian command centers, air defense complexes, coastal surveillance hubs, and drone facilities. The strikes focused heavily near Bandar Abbas and Greater Tunb Island.
Trump previously responded to the assassination plots, warning Tehran that any attempt on his life or his family’s safety would face a “severe and destructive” response from the United States military.
