As previously reported, 6ix9ine was hospitalized with injuries to his jaw, ribs, and back. In a widely circulated video, the rapper was seen walking away in socks with a bloody face, shouting, “Y’all n***as jumped me.”

According to his lawyer Lance Lazzaro, the attack took place in a sauna at a gym where three or four attackers beat him up. Although he tried to fight back, he suffered cuts and bruises.

The perpetrators fled when employees heard the commotion, and the police in South Florida were called. 6ix9ine was then transported via ambulance to a local hospital.

Given 6ix9ine’s high profile, the assault at an LA Fitness sauna was inevitably going to garner significant attention.

Following the attack, the rapper’s bodyguard challenged the attackers, offering a reward of $10,000 if they won and threatening death if they lost. In contrast, rapper Boosie Badazz suggested a GoFundMe campaign for the arrested men, tweeting in all caps, “We gotta start rewarding the real ones.”
