Lydia Forson, a Ghanaian actress, has spoken out about one of the best things the Akufo-Addo-led government has done since taking power.
This follows a series of posts by the actress criticizing the administration regarding the contentious E-Levy was adopted.
In her most recent post, she stated that the Ghana Card is one of the best things this government has done.
She revealed this in a recent tweet on the prominent social media platform Twitter, which reads:
“One of the best things this government has done is the implementation of the Ghana Card.
While I’ve hated the process and unnecessary stress we’ve been put through to register, it’s good to have a national ID 🪪
Just don’t come and tell us to stand in line again to reregister”
Her message drew a number of responses, including the following:
@ASowah – I appreciate it. I believe that given the national ID’s potential, much more could have been done.
Kweku Mensah14 (@KwekuMensah14) What I don’t understand is the moniker “Ghana Card.”
On the card, it says “ECOWAS Identity Card.” Is it known in Nigeria as the “Nigeria Card”?
