Tic Tac, the prominent and sensational hip-hop rapper whose real name is Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah, has claimed that roughly 75% of Ghanaians are liars as well as thieves.

The rapper criticized Ghanaians on his Twitter page for their aggressive sales tactics and exorbitant pricing of their products and services.

In fact, the artist bemoaned the fact that certain retailers had inflated the prices of their goods on purpose. He claimed that 75% of Ghanaians were liars, particularly business owners because of their character.

Tic Tac stated in one of the tweets that: “It will interest you to know that about 75% of the Ghanaian population is a thief. You may not agree, but it’s the fact. They will inform you, the business owners.”

Interestingly, Tic Tac claims that he had been purchasing olives for 16 GHC for a while until the price was raised to 20 GHC, which he believed to be standard given the recent increase in transportation costs.

But just a few days later, he said that he had to purchase the same item for GHc45.

“I have been buying olives for Ghc16 for some time now but just two weeks ago I went to buy some and it was Ghc20 I was like oh it’s still manageable but today I went and it was Ghc45.
