Ismael Mohammed Sherif, better known as Black Sherif, a Ghanaian trap/drill phenomenon, has revealed three critical characteristics that have likely contributed to his success as one of Ghana’s top emerging artists.
Within his brief career in Ghana’s music industry, Black Sherif has amassed a great deal of success. The singer unexpectedly catapulted to stardom and instant success after his “First” and “Second Sermon” went viral.
He has amassed a sizable following and topped various social media charts, as well as being recognized across a variety of channels.
He was recently nominated for roughly eight awards at the upcoming 3Music Awards.
Black Sherif has been nominated for “Breakthrough Artist of the Year” as well as “Artiste of the Year,” and he hopes to break Sarkodie’s VGMA record by winning both categories on the night.
In an interview, Black Sherif claimed that anyone who wants to succeed in life must be focused on what they are doing and tenacious.
