Thomas Michael John Fury, a British professional boxer and reality television star. He took time off from his boxing career in 2019 to star in the fifth series of the ITV2 dating reality television show Love Island. The 22-year-old boxer and the 24-year-old YouTuber have agreed to fight on Saturday, December 18, in Tampa Bay, Florida, and Paul claims that Fury, who is the younger half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, will change his name if he loses.

“I promised Fury to alter his name to Tommy Fumbles or put up $500,000 of his purse if he loses,” Fury told ESPN.

“He decided to change his name. I guess he values money more than his own surname. Maybe he knows that if he loses, his family will abandon him, and money and Molly [Tommy’s girlfriend] will be all he has left.”

Prior to their battle, Fury pledged to put an end to Paul’s career.

“I will end his boxing career,” Fury, who appeared on the UK’s ‘Love Island’ in 2019, stated. After we fight, there will be no more Jake Paul.”

Paul was informed by Fury that he would have no chance in the ring.

“Beating Jake Paul gets me nowhere in boxing terms since he’s not a boxer, so beating him doesn’t get me a world title shot or any respect from the other fighters,” he explained.

“Everyone knows what other fighters think of him, so it won’t get me anywhere — it’ll be a big payday and an easy fight, but then I’ll be back in the real boxing world.”
