Trevor Noah Returns to Host 2023 Grammys

For the third time in a role, Trevor Noah has been confirmed to be the host of music’s biggest Niger, the 2023 Grammy, Just continue readling below to find out more about this.

The 38-year-old South African-American writer, actor, and former host of the well-known The Daily Show made this known in a statement on Thursday.

It would be recalled that earlier this year, the show host who also doubles as a stand-up comedian stepped down as the host of The Daily Show, following a seven-year stint at Comedy Central. In his post-Daily Show era as he embarks on a new journey.

“I don’t think it’s normal to host it once, so I don’t have a great frame of reference for this,” he told the outlet. “It is thrilling. For me, it’s a cheat code because I’m a fan of almost all the people who are there.” Noah said.

“I am 1,000% a fan, and what I love about the Grammys is that I become a fan of a new artist every single time.

“I come in and then I meet this new artist, and all of a sudden, here I am going, ‘Who are the Black Pumas?’ It introduces you to music that you maybe wouldn’t have been [exposed to].” he added.

Third-time hosting for Noah is a significant accomplishment. As he  is so far the only person have hosted the Grammys for at least three consecutive years in the past 30 years.

“For me, it’s a cheat code because I’m a fan of almost all the people who are there. It has also been interesting because of the journey.

“The first one was [during] COVID-19, and it was a completely different way to make the show. And then the next one was in Las Vegas because of the restrictions [in Los Angeles], and that was a different type of show.

“Now it’s exciting [because] it’ll be the first one for me back in L.A. — that’s hopefully not just normal, but different for the right reasons.”

The Recording Academy on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, released the complete list of nominees for the upcoming 65th GRAMMY Awards.

The 2023 GRAMMYs will be broadcast live on CBS Television Network and streamed live and on-demand on Paramount+ on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, from Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, from 8-11:30 p.m. ET / 5-8:30 p.m. PT+.
