Former President Donald Trump takes things to the next level with a new political promise he recently made to Christians.
Donald Trump, speaking to attendees at a conservative Christian event on Friday (July 26), stated that Christians will no longer be required to vote if he is elected President of the United States in the forthcoming November elections.
Trump, the Republican Party’s presidential nominee, delivered his comments at the conclusion of a speech at The Believers’ Summit, an event held by the conservative advocacy group Turning Point Action in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Trump said: “Christians, get out and vote, just this time. “You won’t have to do it anymore. Four more years, you know what, it will be fixed, it will be fine, you won’t have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians.”
“I love you Christians. I’m a Christian. I love you, get out, you gotta get out and vote. In four years, you don’t have to vote again, we’ll have it fixed so good you’re not going to have to vote,” Trump added.

Trump’s speech surprised everyone and became the talk of the town because he had never displayed religious adherence before entering politics.
Earlier in his remarks, he bemoaned that conservative Christians do not vote in significant numbers, a concern he had expressed several times on the campaign trail. “They don’t vote like they should, they’re not big voters.”
Mr. Trump’s claim that Christians would not have to vote again if he were elected swiftly spread on social media. Some suggested that if he won, the 2024 election would be the nation’s last, and that it was further evidence of his authoritarian, anti-democratic tendencies, which he has demonstrated throughout his political career.
Trump also promised to form a federal task force to combat anti-Christian bigotry and defund schools that “pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity, and other inappropriate racial, sexual or political content onto the lives of our children.”
Friday night marked Trump’s second campaign rally since Biden withdrew from the race and supported Vice President Harris as Democratic nominee. At the conference, Trump spent a lot of time bashing Harris.
“If Kamala Harris gets in, she will be the most extreme radical liberal president in American history,” Trump said.
When asked to clarify Mr. Trump’s intention, Steven Cheung, a spokesman for Mr. Trump’s campaign, said in a statement: “President Trump was talking about uniting this country and bringing prosperity to every American, as opposed to the divisive political environment that has sowed so much division and even resulted in an assassination attempt.”
The former president, who continues to erroneously claim that the 2020 election was rigged, prompting some of his fans to assault the Capitol in an attempt to retain him in power in 2021, has alarmed Democrats and some Republicans.
He has referred to his political opponents as “vermin,” stated that he would have a prosecutor investigate President Biden and his family, and framed his campaign as one of payback.
