Manager for English football club, Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel comments of reports that the blues are getting closer to signing Lukaku.
For some days now reports have been rife on Chelsea bringing back Lukaku from Inter Milan to Stamford Bridge, which has got to a lot of fans as the majority are just waiting for him to be signed.
Well, Tuchel has finally reacted to the circulating reports, he was asked by journalists/reporters who were eager to know plans during the pre-Super Cup final press conference to confirm the rumours whether it is true Lukaku is coming back or not.
Tuchel seemed very prepared knowing very well such questions were on the way coming before even stepping his feet in the press room.
He however left the questions and rumours unanswered as he decided not to comment on such an issue as the team wants to stay focus for their Super Cup final against Villarreal at Windsor Park tomorrow night.
“I am absolutely not in the position to announce anything and I will maybe refuse to talk about players who are not at Chelsea, as we are also in a matchday mindset,’ Tuchel explained at his media briefing.” Tuchel said.
He also when asked about reports that Tammy Abraham was leaving the club stood by his earlier decision not to comment on the question.
