Tupac Shakur’s family’s interest in digging deeper into the rapper’s death came to light following resurfaced allegations, including a 2009 transcript in which former LA gang leader Duane ‘Keefe D’ Davi, 61, who was charged with Tupac’s murder, mentioned hip-hop mogul Sean Diddy Combs’ name, saying he offered him [Keefe] $1 million to take out 2pac.

Diddy has never been charged with the allegations, and he has continuously denied any involvement in Tupac’s 1996 case throughout the years.

Well, Diddy did and said what he wanted to say to show his innocence in the case, but it does not appear to sit well with Shakur’s family, who are pushing things a little further.

According to sources, the late rapper’s family has engaged attorneys “Alex Spiro” and “Christopher Clore,” as well as a team of investigators, to look into Keefe’s allegation that Diddy was the brain behind the operation and offered $1 million.

With the new attorneys, the family is searching for additional potential proof to back up the allegations against Diddy. They will confront Sean Diddy Combs once they have developed a more solid case.

However, if nothing comes out of their investigation, the family, according to reports, may consider bringing another wrongful death complaint if they discover evidence to do so.

Keefe D, who was charged in 2023, is currently awaiting a trial set for November 2024.
