The two boxers will face off for the second time in seven months after Usyk defeated Fury by unanimous decision in their first encounter back in May.

Fury, who has been married to Paris since 2008 and shares seven children with her, explained that his commitment to the fight has led him to block contact with everyone, including his wife, in order to focus entirely on his preparation.

In a candid conversation with TNT Sports presenter Dev Sahni, Fury said, “It’s been a long camp. Been away from my wife and kids for three months, I’ve not spoken to Paris at all for three months, not one word. Yeah, I’ve sacrificed a lot.”

When asked if the sacrifices would be worth it if he wins the rematch, Fury replied, “It will be worth it, 100 percent.”

While Paris has been a constant presence at Fury’s past fights, she was notably absent during the first encounter with Usyk. Fury later revealed that Paris had suffered a miscarriage the night before the fight, but chose not to tell him until after the event.

Despite this, Fury mentioned that he suspected something was wrong when she said she couldn’t attend the fight due to high blood pressure. “I knew she wasn’t coming over on the Friday… I knew there was a problem,” Fury said.

The couple has faced significant heartbreak in the past, including the stillbirth of a child in 2014 and another miscarriage in 2018.

However, Fury insists that these personal tragedies did not affect his performance against Usyk, though his trainer, Andy Lee, believes it may have had an impact.

Lee described Fury as unusually quiet and anxious during the lead-up to the fight, suggesting that the emotional toll of his personal life could have played a role.

As Fury heads into the biggest fight of his career in Saudi Arabia this weekend, he remains focused on achieving victory in his rematch with Usyk, with the stakes higher than ever.
