Information reaching Townflex.com has it that the president of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan has been confirmed dead.
President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed was born on 7 September 1948 and was confirmed dead on Friday, May 13, 2022, which means he died at the age of 73, and leaving behind a £120billion fortune.
The news of his untimely death comes to many as a shock even though reports state that he has been battling with an illness for several years now.

As it stands, it has been announced by the UAE Ministry of Presidential Affairs that the nation will observe a 40-day state of mourning with the flags flown at half-mast starting on the day on his death, Friday, May 13, 2022.
Also, all works at the ministries, departments, as well as federal, loacal, and private entities will also be suspended for three (3) days.
He was the 16th leader of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khalifa had served as the President of the United Arab Emirates, the Emir of Abu Dhabi, and the supreme commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces from 2004 to May 13, 2022, after the death of his father (which makes him the 16th leader of Abu Dhabi).

Sheikh Khalifa is being succeeded by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the acting President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), its Minister of Defence, as well as the Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai.
