UEFA Announce date, time and Venue for the Super Cup Finals between Chelsea and Villarreal
Chelsea football club and Villarreal are expected to meet in the month of August for the UEFA Super Cup finals.
The two teams qualified after defeating their opponents in the final. Chelsea thrashed Manchester city 1-0 in the UEFA champions league finals and were crowned the champions of the season. This was after an early goal from Chelsea star Kai Havertz.

On the other hand, Villarreal defeated Manchester United in the Europa league finals in the penalties and won the trophy. This was after David De Gea’s penalty was comfortably saved by Villarreal’s goalkeeper.
The two winning teams are now set to meet for the UEFA Super Cup finals on August 11 at Windsor Park, Belfast. It will just be three days prior to the start of both 2021/22 English premier league and LaLiga domestic campaigns.
