General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the son of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, has sparked attention after publicly expressing his admiration for Nigerian singer Ayra Starr.
Muhoozi, who also serves as the Chief of Defence Forces in Uganda, took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his intentions towards the rising music star.
In a bold statement, he wrote: “My late Grandfather… Mzee Amos gave me permission to get any woman on earth! I will capture that girl… Ayra Starr.”
Muhoozi’s remarks, which seem to be both playful and serious, have generated considerable online chatter. His comment referencing his late grandfather’s permission added a personal touch to his declaration, fueling further curiosity.
In another tweet, the Ugandan military leader suggested that a special TV program be created to showcase his charm, suggesting it should be a platform for Ugandan women to admire his looks.
