[Update] Captain Smart has been spotted visiting the Greda Estates police station.

Blessed Godsbrain Smart, also known as Captain Smart, is the host of Onua TV/morning FM’s show.

He was discovered late Thursday morning at the Greda Estates Police Station, where he is in good condition.

After being taken into National Security custody on Wednesday evening, Captain Smart was nowhere to be found, causing concern among friends, colleagues, and admirers.

The state security apparatus detained the Maakye presenter immediately after an Accra Circuit Court granted him bail on February 2.

He had pled not guilty to two counts of extortion and abetment to extortion, respectively.

However, according to National Security, an order came down from up high to bring Captain Smart and another person to the secretariat.

Despite purportedly meeting the bail requirements, he was then imprisoned for the night.

When top executives from Media General, the parent firm of Onua FM and Onua TV, went to the secretariat to see the radio host, he wasn’t there.

Enquiries led the team, which included Group Chief Executive Officer Beatrice Agyemang, to the Ministries Police Station, where they were told he was not listed as having been there in the records.

They were eventually directed to the Greda Estates Police Station, where he was apprehended.
