Popular Ghanaian singer, afropop, dancehall and R&B artiste, Mzvee has finally received her plaque for winning Best Video Of The Year Award at the 2021 VGMA‘s.
The winners for the 2021 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards segmented into a two-days awards ceremony took place on Friday, June 25th and Saturday, June 26th, where Gospel recording artiste, Diana Hamilton won the overall Artiste Of The Year Award.
The singer, born with her legal name as Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, got nominations into 3 categories (Album Of The Year, Video Of The Year, and Reggae/Dancehall song Of The Year) but managed to win one (the Best Video Of The Year).

Mzvee emerged the winner of the best video category with her hit song ‘Baddest Boss’ beating the likes of Adina, Amaarae, Diana Hamilton, Joey B, Kweku Smoke, Mr Drew, Okyeame Kwame, Pappy Kojo, and her former label mate, Kuami Eugene.

Mzvee almost two months after winning the award, took to her social media pages on Sunday morning, August 22, 2021, to announce to the world she has finally gotten hold of the plaque.
In a video shared on her official Instagram page, saw her holding the award and also extending her thanksgiving to R2Bess’s Mugeez who she featured on her Baddest Boss song and also to her fans as well as the video director.
