The wife of actor Aaron Goodwin, best known for his role on Ghost Adventures, has been arrested for allegedly attempting to hire a hitman to kill him.
Victoria Goodwin was charged with solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder after it was revealed she had been plotting the killing just two years after their wedding.
According to a police report obtained by TMZ, the plot was uncovered when correctional officers confiscated a prison inmate’s phone, revealing disturbing messages between Victoria and the inmate.
The communication showed that Victoria had been corresponding with the inmate since October 2024, expressing her desire to end her marriage by any means other than divorce. One message allegedly read, “Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.”
In the messages, Victoria is said to have provided detailed information about her husband’s whereabouts and filming schedule for Ghost Adventures, which would have helped the alleged hitman track Aaron’s location.
Authorities also discovered that Victoria had set aside $11,515 for the hitman, with an upfront payment of $2,500.

The plan, however, was foiled when the inmate’s phone was seized, and police uncovered an alarming exchange between the inmate and the hitman.

“He’s asleep right now in the hotel room… I need to know what’s going on. Can I get an update. Was it done?” read one of the messages.
When questioned by authorities, Victoria admitted that she and Aaron had been facing marital problems, but she denied wanting to kill him.
She claimed that she was only fantasizing about life without her husband and did not remember sending the incriminating messages. Victoria also stated that she believed the $11,515 was meant for purchasing cellphones, not paying a hitman.
Victoria, 30, was arrested on March 6 in Nevada and is being held on a $100,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear before a judge on March 11.
Aaron spoke out about the shocking arrest, telling TMZ he was blindsided by the entire situation and believed his marriage was stable. His co-star, Zak Bagans, also expressed support, stating that friends and family are rallying around Aaron during this difficult time.
The couple, who married in August 2022 at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion, had recently posted pictures of their Valentine’s Day celebration, further adding to the shock of the allegations.
