Ghanaian rapper/singer, Kweku Flick who has always been described as the replica of rapper Kwesi Arthur has in a new video revealed that Kwesi keeps rejecting his featuring request.
Kweku Flick made this known in a recent interview on Zion Felx’s Uncut entertainment show where he talked about his life, growing up, and how his musical career started, and his plans for the future.
the singer who is now one of the new acts making it big came into the scene starting from 2019 where he started unleashing powerful songs and currently has hit songs he can boast of.
Some Ghanaians are of the view that he is just trying to tune himself to sound just like BET Award nominee, Kwesi Arthur saying Kweku is a photocopy of the rapper based on the voice, the looks, and also the style sometimes.
In the interview, he debunked all the says by people about him trying to imitate Kwesi Arthur, according to him, he is doing his own style even though he is a fan of the rapper and loves to also listen to his works doesn’t mean he is copying what he does. Adding that he is also a die-hard fan of Fameye, follows him a lot but never copied Kwesi Arthur’s styles.
Speaking more on his relationship with Kwesi Arthur, Kweku flick said that the rapper turned down a featuring request from him on his Awake song, he explained further saying that Kwesi rejected it because he told him if he would work on a song with he [Kweku], it shouldn’t a remix but rather an original song.
The New Year hitmaker said based on Kwesi Arthur’s preference on working on a new song with him, he worked on a new song which he sent to Kwesi later last year 2021, and he confirmed he was going to do it but to date, he has not yet sent him his verse and he [Kweku Flick] is not putting pressure on him because he believes he will do it and that the delay may be due to busyness on the business.
